Is a traditional teakwood, joglo-style‚ restaurant, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. The restaurant is located on the second floor of the main building and has a capacity of 50 guests. With ocean and pool views, Dhaharan serves dishes from an authentic Indonesian-Nusantara menu with the added choice of a western-style menu.
Our chef has both national and international experience in a wide variety of world cuisines. Our special of the day menu is created from fresh produce harvested from in our garden. A la minute menu is available on request.
We serve both a buffet and a la carte breakfast utilising local freshly ground coffee and locally grown tea including rosella tea, telang, ginger, turmeric and tamarin teas. We even make and serve our own chocolate from our home-grown cocoa bushes.
On our land we grow avocado, banana, coconut, dragon fruit, durian, jack fruit, mango, papaya, pineapple,mangosteen and passion fruit that can be made into a delicious and energizing fresh juice on request.
Other fruits such as apple, lichee, rock melon and watermelon can easily be purchased to make a fresh fruit salad desert from the nearby traditional local market. Dhaharan restaurant overlooks our generous refreshing, freshwater swimming pool, one of the largest in the area at 14 m x 14 m. (The pool follows the contour of the paddy terrace which has remained undisturbed.)
